Short-Term Volunteering (STV)

We offer flexible volunteering programs to match your time and passion. Find key info on fees, housing, meals, visa, and safety—our team is here to support you all the way.

Practical Information

Duration:

The Short-Term Volunteering (STV) Program lasts from 4 to 30 days, offering flexible options to match your availability and schedule.

Fees:

1 – 4 days (160$) & 5 – 7 days (200$), 8 – 14 days (220$) 20 days (300$) & 30 days (400)$. It Includes: food, accommodation admin fees, , projects materials, training

Living:

Volunteer will stay at volunteer’s house or hosting family where there will be share room but separate male & Female depend on project you chose. 

Meals:

3 meals/days Cambodian dishes will be provided but in some projects, volunteer will team up for cooking shift in a mix naitonalities.

Transportation

CYA will help arrange the local transportation from the city to project site but the volunteers will pay the transportation fees. It is between 5 – 10$/person.

Eligibility

CYA projects open to all nationalities from age 18 years old and over. It fits for backpacker, solo traveler, and group. There’s No experience required

CYA – Learning Center (CLC)

Since 2014, the CYA-Learning Center (CLC) has grown from a bamboo classroom into a vibrant hub, providing English classes, modern classrooms, a library, and a computer center.

Global Education Center (GEC)

Since 2016, the Global Education Center (GEC) in Siem Reap offers free English, arts, and computer classes for children from surrounding areas now we expand our service to more communities.

Angkor Thom Community Tourism

Launching in 2025, Angkor Thom Community Tourism Project (ACTP) connects tourists from Angkor’s tourist areas to local communities, promoting growth where local products are crafted.

Trapaing Sangke Fishing Community

Since 2012, our nat’l & Int’l Volunteers transformed Trapaing Sangke Fishing Community (TFC) from a fishing community to a popular eco-tourism site.

Development for Cambodian Children

CYA collaborates with Development for Cambodian  Children in 2018 where our volunteers support in teaching English, computer, and sports.

New Life School (NLS)

In 2026, CYA partners with New Life School in Siem Reap to support education for children, honoring founder’s mission to give back through learning.

Mid - & Long - Term Volunteering (LMTV)

Long & Mid-Term Volunteering (LMTV) offers meaningful engagement from 1 to 12 months. We offer flexible volunteering programs to fit your time and passion. Learn about fees, housing, meals, visa, and safety—our team is here to support you every step of the way.

The Long – & Mid – Term Volunteering (LMTV) Program lasts from 1 to 12 months, offering flexible options to match your availability and schedule.

Fees:

1 month (400$/month), 2 months (320$/month) & over 3 months (300$/month). It Includes: food, accom., admin fees, , projects materials, training, support, and events

Living:

Volunteer will stay at volunteer’s house or hosting family where there will be share room but separate male & Female depend on project you chose. 

Meals:
