About our projects
CYA is an International Voluntary Service (IVS) NGO in Cambodia which has been hosting different volunteering programs includes: Short-Term Int’l workcamp, group projects, university study abroad program, Asia Voluntary Service Program, and Long Term Volunteering program. We are member and partners with many different IVS networks and NGOs around the world and it is enable us to host between 300 and 500 volunteers in our projects annually.

Center for Sustainable Development (CSD)
DESCRIPTION:

WORKS: Volunteers are going to work in various activities such organizing ceremonies and events with local people, teaching English, computer, arts, and sports to children, and working vegetable garden at Center for Sustainable Development (CSD). NEAREST TERMAL: Phnom Penh Int’l Airport LEISURE ACTIVITIES: There are plenty of tourist attraction sites such as Teuk Chhou, Bokor national park, Rabit island, and more.. that you can explore during your free day. CLC is on open space in the remote area so beside your free day touring you can also have fun by interacting with local people, teenagers and children during your free time by organizing different activities so bring your flexibility and creativity. PARTICIPATION FEES: Cambodian Youth Action (CYA) is a not for profit and we haven’t received any funding support from any funding agencies therefore, all participants are required to pay their participation fee. The participation fee is payable by cash upon arrival which is USD 220.00 that will cover; food, accommodation, and project materials, project activities, and administration costs of CYA.
Center for Arts, Music, and Education (CAME)

WORKS: Volunteers will working on organizing different workshop, training, and activities to support students learning and development. Volunteers will also teaching english to students and join construction activities to renovate GEC classroom, beautify the campus, and build building for GEC office, library, and computer room. NEAREST TERMINAL: Siem Reap Int’l Airport LEISURE ACTIVITIES: Siem Reap is city of world heritages including a very famous Angkor Wat. More than a hundred of ancient temples are located in Siem Reap province so you can easily using your free time. GEC is at open space so you can also have fun by interacting with local people, teenagers and children during your free time by organizing different activities so bring your flexibility and creativity. Trapaing Sangke Fishing Community (TFC)

WORKS: Organize workshops with local people to promote the understanding of mangroves forest to people lives and collect mangrove seeds, seedling, and planting mangroves in TFC protected area while maintaining the planted mangroves. Development for Cambodian Children (DCC)

WORKS: Volunteers are going to participate in different activities such as teaching English and computer for DCC students, organize sport activities with teenagers, and participate in social development and environmental protection with local people. Beside, volunteers will also have opportunity to learn from local community through community challenge & mapping and learn from other volunteers through sharing sessions and free time activities organize by camp leader during the camp. NEAREST TERMINAL: PP & SR Int’l Airport LEISURE ACTIVITIES: There are plenty of tourist attraction sites located in or nearby Battambang province for example: Phnom Sampov, Prasat Phnom Banan, Phnom Yat, and more.. Volunteer can explore by themselves during their free day. DCC is not far from Battambang city therefore, beside your free day touring you can also have fun by interacting with local people, teenagers and children during your free time by organizing different activities so bring your flexibility and creativity.
